Speak with our care coordinator about your loved one’s daily routines, challenges, and support needs.
In-home care may be a good option when a senior needs additional help with everyday routines, personal care, companionship, household tasks, mobility, or supervision but wishes to remain in the comfort of home. We can discuss your family’s needs during a consultation to help determine whether our services are an appropriate fit.
The first step is a conversation with our team. We’ll learn about your loved one’s routines, preferences, care needs, schedule, and family priorities, then discuss the type of support that may be appropriate.
Yes. Care is tailored around the individual’s abilities, routines, preferences, personality, and support needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Start times depend on the client’s needs, requested schedule, caregiver availability, and completion of the intake process. We work with families to begin care as efficiently as possible.
Yes. Care plans can be adjusted as routines, mobility, health circumstances, family availability, or daily support needs change.
Starting care doesn’t have to feel complicated. We begin with a conversation to understand your loved one’s needs, routines, preferences, and schedule. From there, we create a personalized care plan, thoughtfully match the right caregiver, and coordinate a start date that works for your family. Once care begins, we stay flexible and can adjust the plan as needs change.
Ally Geriatric HomeCare provides non-medical in-home support including Personal Care, Companion Care, Homemaker Support, Respite Care, Memory Care & Dementia Support, and Specialized Support.
Yes. Many clients benefit from a combination of services. For example, a caregiver may provide personal care, companionship, meal support, and light homemaker assistance during the same visit depending on the care plan.
Care schedules can be customized based on the client’s needs and caregiver availability. We can discuss extended or around-the-clock support options during your consultation.
Caregivers may accompany clients to appointments, shopping, dining, social outings, and other activities, and can assist with household errands as part of the care plan. Transportation arrangements are coordinated with each family based on the client’s needs and available vehicle, and may include use of a client-designated vehicle when appropriate. Specific transportation accommodations can be discussed during the consultation.
Ally Geriatric HomeCare provides non-medical in-home care and does not replace skilled nursing or other licensed clinical services. Depending on the client’s care plan and caregiver qualifications, our services may include permitted medication support, routine vital-sign checks and recording, observation of changes, and coordination with family and healthcare professionals. Clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and skilled nursing services remain the responsibility of appropriately licensed healthcare providers.
Caregivers are carefully screened and evaluated based on experience, qualifications, professionalism, reliability, and their ability to provide compassionate care.
We consider care needs, personality, communication style, preferences, routines, experience, and caregiver availability when making a match.
We aim for consistency whenever possible because familiar caregivers can help clients feel more comfortable and secure.
We want families to feel confident in the caregiver relationship. If a match does not feel right, we can discuss concerns and work toward a more appropriate fit.
Caregiver experience, training, qualifications, and certifications are considered when matching clients with dementia, memory-related, mobility, or more involved support needs. We work to assign caregivers whose background and abilities are appropriate for the client’s care plan and level of assistance required.
Schedules are developed around the client’s care needs, preferred times, family routines, and caregiver availability.
We generally schedule visits with a minimum number of hours to ensure reliable caregiver availability and appropriate compensation for travel and short shifts. Shorter visits may be available in some situations at a higher hourly rate. We’re flexible and can discuss the schedule that best fits your family’s needs during your consultation.
Care costs depend on the level of support required, schedule, frequency of visits, and other individual needs. Ally Geriatric HomeCare is committed to offering high-quality care at fair, competitive rates compared with other home care agencies in the Valley. We believe families should be able to access dependable, personalized care without paying unnecessary premium pricing, and we provide clear, transparent pricing during the consultation process.
No. We offer flexible care arrangements for both short-term and ongoing needs, and families are not locked into long-term care indefinitely. Services may be discontinued with seven days’ advance notice under our current service agreement. We’ll review scheduling, service terms, and any applicable policies with you during your consultation so you know exactly what to expect before care begins.
Yes. Care schedules can often be adjusted as needs change, subject to caregiver availability and the terms of the service agreement.
Communication can be tailored to the family’s preferences and care plan. Caregivers can share relevant observations and routine updates with designated family members as appropriate.
Yes. Family input is often an important part of understanding routines, preferences, history, and changing support needs.
Caregivers can communicate meaningful changes in everyday routines, comfort, behavior, mobility, or condition to designated family members and, when appropriate, other members of the care team.
Medication support is based on each client’s needs, established care plan, and the caregiver’s qualifications. Depending on the circumstances, support may include medication reminders, assistance with established medication routines, and permitted medication administration by appropriately qualified caregivers. When medication administration is provided, caregivers follow verified medication instructions or orders on record. Specific medication needs and arrangements are reviewed during the care-planning process.
Yes. Ally caregivers can work alongside family members, physicians, nurses, therapists, hospice and palliative care teams, and other healthcare professionals. Our role is to provide complementary non-medical support, follow established care routines and instructions within the caregiver’s permitted role, observe and communicate relevant changes, and help maintain continuity of care at home.

Yes. When appropriate to the client’s care plan, caregivers may assist with checking and recording routine vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturation. Recorded information or observed changes can be communicated to family members or appropriate care professionals. These services do not replace medical assessment, diagnosis, or skilled nursing care.
Yes. We can provide non-medical support for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia based on their routines, abilities, behaviors, and level of assistance needed.
Support may be available for clients who require greater assistance with walking, transfers, positioning, personal care, or other daily routines. Each situation is evaluated individually to ensure the requested support is appropriate.
Yes. Ally caregivers can provide complementary non-medical support for clients receiving hospice or palliative care. Support may include comfort-focused personal care, toileting and incontinence care, mobility, transfers and positioning, meals and hydration, companionship, established medication support within the caregiver’s permitted role, and other everyday care needs. Our caregivers can coordinate with the family and hospice or palliative care team as appropriate while complementing—not replacing—the services provided by licensed healthcare professionals.
Caregivers are selected based on the client’s needs and the level of support required, with appropriate experience, training, and certifications considered for each assignment. In an emergency, caregivers follow established emergency procedures, which may include contacting 911, designated family members, hospice, or other care professionals as appropriate.
For clients with a valid Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order or other documented advance directive, caregivers follow the established care plan and applicable instructions. A DNR generally applies to resuscitation in the event of cardiac or respiratory arrest and does not necessarily mean that all comfort or supportive care is withheld.
